Franklin Tennessee, A Creative Town With A Lovely Heart.

Before I moved to Tennessee, we had traveled to Nashville quite a few times. After talking with some friends we heard about a place right outside of Nashville called Franklin. The first time we visited, I fell in love and have not strayed from dreaming about having a home there one day. Not only is Franklin the 9th richest county in the world, and a home to more famous people than I can count, but it holds some sort of magic within it, making it feel like a dream to a girl who loves exploring. It was no surprise that Blake chose Franklin as the place to propose to me! It's wonderfully, magical and feels so much like home. When you arrive downtown in Franklin, all around you are upscale shops with an old fashion charm. The first stop I make when I get there is a bite to eat at Franklin Mercantile. This sandwich/ soup shop is by far my favorite place to eat at. With farmhouse decor filling every inch, fresh flowers on every table and magical lights strung above the whole shop, it's not even a question to feel like you could sit in there with a warm cup of cider day dreaming all afternoon. After a meal full of fruit tea, and homemade soup, I always walk through to the other side of the shop where the gorgeous Ivy Cakes is located. As some of you may know, the owner of the bakery is Ivy Childers, best friend of Carrie Underwood (I know right!). Inside her store are beautiful cupcakes that line a glass case. A cupcake lovers heaven! With unique sprinkles and frosting you are guaranteed to hit your sweet spot stopping at this wonderful bakery! After filling up with yummy foods and sweets I always head to my favorite boutique Philanthropy. This one of a kind shop donates their proceeds to people in need and is a complete christian based store with so many lovely treasures and clothing styles inside. Every time I walk in I feel a sense of peace. No matter what the day or how many products they switch out, the word FEARLESS catches my eye on one of their pieces every time I make my way through the shop. My heart shivers with warmness thinking maybe, just maybe, that my gorgeous friend is saying hi from the heavens above. My favorite part of this store is their rustic prayer board. No matter who you are, or what your going through, you can write your prayer on the prayer board. How inspiring, right? I could spend hours in this boutique just reading the verses on the walls and feeling Gods presence surround me. It's hard to believe a town could inspire you, make you feel closer to God and have the best candid photo ops on the planet, but Franklin is just that! For those of you who have never been, I highly encourage it along with visiting the outer part of Franklin and into the little town of Leapers Fork. You will be amazed by the magical and warm feeling that this lovely town will give you!

"Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you." Jeremiah 29:12
